CHRISTOPHER ROBIN — A working-class family man, Christopher Robin, encounters his childhood friend Winnie-the-Pooh, who helps him to rediscover the joys of life. (1 hour, 44 minutes) Rated PG.

CRAZY RICH ASIANS — This contemporary romantic comedy, based on a global best-seller, follows native New Yorker Rachel Chu to Singapore to meet her boyfriend’s family.  (2 hours) Rated PG-13.  

*FAHRENHEIT 11/9 — Michael Moore’s latest documentary is a provocative and comedic look at the times in which we live. It delivers a mixed message: Be afraid — yet hopeful. (2 hours, 5 minutes) Rated R.

*THE HOUSE WITH A CLOCK IN ITS WALLS — A young orphan named Lewis Barnavelt aids his magical uncle in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world. (1 hour, 44 minutes) Rated PG. 

*LIFE ITSELF — As a young New York couple goes from college romance to marriage and the birth of their first child, the unexpected twists of their journey create reverberations that echo over continents and through lifetimes. (1 hour, 58 minutes) Rated R. 

THE MEG — After escaping an attack by what he claims was a 70-foot shark, Jonas Taylor must confront his fears to save those trapped in a sunken submersible. (1 hour, 53 minutes). 

MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: FALLOUT — Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong. (2 hours, 27 minutes) Rated PG-13. 

THE NUN — A priest with a haunted past and a novice on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun. (1 hour, 36 minutes) Rated R.
