■ Haddocks United American Free Will Baptist Church, 111 Sunset Acres Lane, will host Pitt Community College President Lawrence L. Rouse at 11 a.m. Dec. 23. Refreshments will be served.
■ House of Judah Church of God Ministries, 3867 W. Wilson St., Farmville, will host the Down East Christian Organization's Christmas banquet at 5 p.m. today. The Southland Singers will be in concert. Evangelist Alice Joyner will speak at a youth service at 11 a.m. Sunday. Pastor Gregory Messick will be guest speaker at 3 p.m. Sunday. A service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday to benefit the transportation fund.
■ New Beginnings Deliverance Center, 217 Queen Drive, will have revival services at 7 p.m. Wednesday-Friday. The church will host a “Twelve Tribes of Israel” program at 4 p.m. Dec. 15.
■ Next Generation Church, 2605 N. Railroad St., Winterville, will host anniversary services at 3 p.m. today. Pastor Berry Barryhill and Phillippi Missionary Baptist Church will be guest speaker.
■ St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 1251 Fleming School Road, will host a seniors fellowship meeting at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The guest speaker will be the Rev. Arthur L. King.
■ Sycamore Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1001 Hooker Road, will host the 37th anniversary of its male chorus at 4 p.m. Sunday. Guests include St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, Men of Calvary of La Grange and The Gospel 5 of Oak City. The church will host a food distribution from noon-2 p.m. Dec. 18. A Communion service will be held at 10:40 a.m. Dec. 23., followed by the “Sing We All Noel” musical program at 5 p.m.
■ Landmark Church, 4657 U.S. Highway 13 South, will host a drive-through Nativity from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday through Dec. 16.
■ Salem United Methodist Church, 785 McDonald St., Simpson, will host its ladies' annual holiday helpers from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. today. Breakfast will be served, following by a soup and sandwich lunch at 11 a.m. Items available for sale will include cookies and other baked goods along with pints and half pints of chicken salad and pimento cheese and frozen entrees. The event also will feature a general store and a “Secret Santa” shop for children.

■ Black Jack Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2971 Black Jack Simpson Road, will host its adult choir cantata “The King is Here” at 10 a.m. Sunday. The children's Christmas play, “I Didn't Think It Would Happen Like This,” will be presented at 6 p.m. Sunday. ■ Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 1095 Allen Road, will host a performance of The SONshine Choir and Friends at 4 p.m. on Sunday. The event will also feature Teen Voices of Victory, Abundant Life Praise Dancers, Master's Muses and Disciples and performances from Cornerstone's Christian Child Development Center and South Central High School.
■ Chocowinity United Methodist Church,678 N.C. 33 West, Chocowinity, will present “God’s Story, Ancient and Future” at 7 p.m. today and 3 p.m. Sunday.
■ The Memorial Baptist Church, 1510 S.E. Greenville Blvd., will host its Christmas cantata, “Christmas Presence,” at 10:55 a.m. Sunday.
■ Oakmont Baptist Church, 1100 Red Banks Road, will host the ensembles' Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16.
■ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1801 S. Elm St., will host evening prayer on the fourth Sunday in Advent at 7 p.m. Dec. 23. featuring “My Soul Magnifies the Lord” Motets and the Magnificat Quinti toni of Hans Leo Hassler.
■ Parkers Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 2241 Old Pactolus Road, will host a Christmas pageant at 6:30 p.m. today and Sunday. “The Story of Christmas,” presented by the church's music ministry, will include more than 170 cast members portraying the story of Jesus.
■ St. Paul Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, 4406 East Ave., Ayden, will host the Victory Community Choir in concert at 6:30 p.m. today.
■ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 401 E. Fourth St., will host its annual festival of Nine Lessons and Carols in the English tradition at 5 p.m. Sunday.
