Two weeks after South Florida won a 77-57 basketball game in Minges Coliseum, East Carolina makes the return trip to USF for a 5:30 p.m. tip-off in Tampa.

Alexis Yetna was a stalwart for the Bulls (15-6, 5-4 American) in Greenville, scoring 28 points thanks to shooting 11-of-13 from the field. ECU trailed 36-34 at halftime and then USF pulled away to stretch its lead.

That victory by USF is part of a three-game win streak it will take into today’s matchup.

The Pirates (9-13, 2-8), who are 3-2 in the their last five games versus the Bulls, are coming off a 65-49 loss to Wichita State. Jayden Gardner and Isaac Fleming each scored 11 points, but East Carolina again struggled in the paint and was out-rebounded 46-27.
