Man robbed at gunpoint at hotel

A 34-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint after he was invited into a room at the Camelot Inn on Tuesday, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department.
The incident took place about 12:10 p.m. at the hotel at 2828 S. Memorial Drive. The victim told officers he was walking outside when a couple invited him in to smoke.
Once inside, the man was robbed of his iPhone 8 valued at $600 and an unspecified amount of cash. Department spokeswoman Kristen Hunter said a struggle was reported between the victim and one of the suspects, but the victim was not shot or seriously injured.
An investigation is ongoing, Hunter said. Officers have developed some persons of interest.

■ 200 block Deck Street, 8 p.m. Dec. 3-6:30 p.m. Dec. 4: home entered without force through upper side window; bed comforter, three air fresheners, two rolls of toiler paper, a pair of Kyrie Irving shoes and a 49-inch smart TV, all valued at $1037.89, stolen; case inactive.
