Guns, ammunition stolen during residential break-in

Several handguns, ammunition two cellphones and other items totaling more than $5,000 were stolen during a home break-in on Clarks Neck Road, according to the a report from the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the report, an Iver Johnson .55 caliber handgun, Glock .22 caliber handgun, Bersa Thunder handgun, ammunition, backpack, two rings, Motorolla cellphone, Samsun Galaxy S5, Ruger Charger handgun and three wristwatches, all valued at $5,020, stolen between 6:20 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Nov. 2 from a home in the 4900 block Clarks Neck Road.

The case remains under investigation.

The sheriff’s office released reports this week with the following details and allegations:

Break-ins, thefts

■ 1700 block Edwards Farm Road, 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 3: two radios, three Michael Kors brand jewelry items and nine Michael Kors brand hand bags, all valued at $2,200, stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 1500 block Charter Drive, 3:03 a.m. Nov. 4: 55-inch TV valued at $565 stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 3100 block Ayden Golf Club Road, near Winterville, 8 a.m. Sept. 20-5:10 p.m. Oct. 11: $13,000 in cash stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 3805 Charles Blvd., 7:25-7:27 p.m. Nov. 1: $351 in cash stolen from Speedway at knife-point; case status: active.

■ 600 block Heartwood Drive, near Grimesland, 9:30 p.m. Nov. 6-7:02 p.m. Nov. 7: Xbox 360, four Xbox video games, unspecified quantity of Mikita power tools and Snap-On power tools and two pocket watches, all valued at $2,650, stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 4900 block Dixon Road, near Grimesland, noon Oct. 1-noon Oct. 17: .22 caliber revolver valued at $50 stolen from home; case closed: leads exhausted.

■ 500 block Rustic Lane, 8:35-8:40 p.m. Nov. 1: 42-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 5200 block Boyds Road, near Grimesland, 12:50-12:51 a.m. Nov. 3: 36-year-old woman assaulted at home by husband; minor injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 2600 block Dickinson Avenue, 3:32 p.m. Nov. 3: 36-year-old woman assaulted on road by husband; no injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 500 block Weston Road, near Grimesland, 10-11 a.m. Nov. 4: 30-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 900 block Austin Lane, 2 a.m. Oct. 17: 38-year-old woman assaulted by strangulation at home by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; Ford Fiesta sustained $200 in damages from a knife; case status: active.

■ 3100 block Kings Branch Drive, 9 p.m. Oct. 3-7 a.m. Oct. 4: 26-year-old woman assaulted at home by boyfriend; no injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 3200 block Syemore Street and Briley Road, 8:30-8:40 p.m. Nov. 6: 63-year-old woman assaulted at home by husband; no injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 5000 block County Home Road, 5-5:18 p.m. Nov. 5: 56-year-old woman assaulted at home by husband; no injuries reported; case status: unfounded.

■ 100 block West Third Street, midnight Oct. 28-midnight Oct. 29: 18-year-old woman assaulted at motel room by boyfriend; minor injuries reported; case status: active.

■ 100 block N.C. 903, midnight Nov. 5: 27-year-old man assaulted by two known people; minor injuries reported; case cleared: prosecution declined.

■ 300 block Homestead Drive, 8:08 p.m. Nov. 3: 30-year-old man assaulted on road; no injuries reported; case closed: leads exhausted.

■ 200 block Guinevere Lane, 2:45 p.m. Nov. 3: 43-year-old woman assaulted by parent at home; minor injuries reported; window sustained $300 in damages from a blunt object; arrest made.

■ 4000 block First Street, near Farmville, 7:45-7:59 a.m. Nov. 2: 62-year-old man assaulted by child at home; no injuries reported; case cleared: prosecution declined.

■ 3300 block Pinetree Lane, 10:12-10:13 a.m. Nov. 3: 31-year-old woman assaulted by known person; no injuries reported; case cleared: prosecution declined.

Property Damage

■ 3300 block Old River Road, 11 a.m. Nov. 5: Chevy Malibu sustained $500 in damages from knife; case cleared: victim refused to cooperate.

■ 1400 block Old River Road, 8:21 p.m. Nov. 6: Jeep Commander sustained $300 in damages from a blunt object; case status: active.
