Teen assaulted, robbed at residence

An 18-year-old man was assaulted at a residence early Thursday morning, resulting in serious injuries and a stolen phone, according to a case report released by the Greenville Police Department. 

The incident occurred on the 1000 block of West Wright Road between 1:32 a.m. and 11:31 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 1, the report said.

Serious injuries were reported. The victim also reported that his iPhone 8, valued at $250, was stolen.

The case is inactive.

■ 100 block David Drive, 2-8 p.m. Nov. 4: home entered by prying back door open; Versace prescription glasses, Bretling watch, two G-Shock watches, a gold Invicta watch, a gold necklace, an Amazon Firestick, and eight shotgun shells, all valued at $4,120, stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 200 block Wyndham Circle, 11 p.m. Nov. 3-1 a.m. Nov. 4: break-in by known person to residence reported; no items listed as stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 500 block Greenfield Boulevard, 6 a.m.-7:45 p.m. Nov. 3: home entered without force through back window; gold colored chain necklace, Timerbland boots, Amazon Firestick, two Amazon Kindles and a 50-inch flat screen TV, all valued at $830, stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ Birch Street and Circle Drive, 1-4 p.m. Nov. 3: 2005 beige Toyota Prius of unlisted value stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 100 block Chandler Drive, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 3: two Stihl backpack leaf blowers valued at $700 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 200 block Nichols Drive, 10:30 p.m. Nov. 2-8:45 a.m. Nov. 3: Adderall bottle of unlisted value stolen from vehicle; unclear if any Adderall tablets were in the bottle; investigation ongoing.

■ 600 block South Memorial Drive, 5-8:15 p.m. Nov. 2: Adidas baby shoes valued at $15 stolen from vehicle; investigation ongoing.

■ 1100 block West Third Street, 8 p.m. Oct. 31-8 a.m. Nov. 2: 1997 white Ford Crown Victoria valued at $2,000 stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 3400 block South Memorial Drive, 3:04-4:21 p.m. Nov. 2: 2011 silver Cadillac valued at $13,000 stolen; jacket, paperwork and checkbook, all of unlisted value, also stolen; investigation ongoing.

■ 2000 block Croyden Circle, 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 30: 2008 red Kia Spectra valued at $10,000 stolen; investigation ongoing.


■ 500 block Cotanche Street, 9:45-10:45 p.m. Nov. 3: 25-year-old woman assaulted at nightclub; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ West Arlington Boulevard and Hooker Road, 3:05-3:10 a.m. Nov. 3: 27-year-old woman assaulted at gunpoint on road; extent of injuries not reported; case inactive.

■ 2200 block Chavis Drive, 9:30-9:45 p.m. Nov. 2: 22-year-old woman assaulted by ex-boyfriend on road; minor injuries reported; case inactive/warrants obtained.

■ 300 block Kristin Drive, 9-10 p.m. Nov. 2: assault on female reported at home; victim information not listed; case closed/cleared.

■ 100 block East Fifth Street, 1:39-1:42 p.m. Oct. 27: man assaulted; extent of injuries not reported; arrest made.

■ 2200 block Charles Boulevard, 1:50-1:56 p.m. Nov. 2: 43-year-old woman assaulted; moderate injuries reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 2200 block Bellamy Circle, 9-9:18 p.m. Nov. 4: 22-year-old man robbed with semi-automatic handgun; extent of injuries not reported; investigation ongoing.

■ 400 block Old Towne Drive, noon Oct. 30-10 a.m. Nov. 1: trailer, PVC pipes, and cast iron cutter, all valued at $10,600, stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 4000 block Old River Road, 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Nov. 1: PlayStation 4, Tommy Hilfiger bag, Nike Jordan shoes and a watch, all valued at $710, stolen from home; case status: active.

■ 3805 Charles Blvd., 7:25-7:27 p.m. Nov. 1: Speedway robbed with a knife; $351 in cash stolen; case status: active.
