BYH, potatoes bring us french fries, mashed potatoes, hash browns, vodka, tater tots, boiled potatoes, potato chips, potato pancakes, au gratin, baked potatoes, potato soup, potato casseroles ... its like the other foods aren't even trying.
BYH to putting up the Christmas lights so early. The closer you get to Christmas the colder it is outside and more difficult and not quite as fun with frost-bite fingers. So I might possibly put them up early but won't turn them on til after Thanksgiving. How is that? I am happy, you are happy and not confused as to why I put them up so early. Merry Christmas! Ho! Ho! Ho!
One way to raise money in Pitt County would be to require bald headed men to have to purchase a yearly permit to wear their baseball caps indoors. I would feel better knowing they have paid for the privilege of being rude.
A big thank you to the ladies volunteering at the Church Street precinct in Winterville. They were friendly and pleasant, even at 6:45 a.m. I voted!
BYH: Cough. Rough. Though. Through. Trough. How do none of these words rhyme, but for some godforsaken reason pony and bologna do?
BYH to the person who commented that ECU is going to play Michigan in 2023 when they can not even win at home. You obviously don't know what $1.8 million can do for ECU's athletic budget.
Contrary to popular opinion not every patient who is prescribed opiates for pain becomes an addict. You can blame everyone but the person taking the illegal drugs, but in the end it is up to them to resist temptation. Nothing wrong with taking responsibility for your actions.
Bless all our hearts. The holiday season is quickly approaching. Get ready for the family gatherings of conservatives and liberals. Try to stay civil to each other. BYH
Alright, the election is over. Now please clean up your signs and other political litter cluttering our roadways.
Bless your heart to people who continuously bash "millennials." I am considered to be a millennial. I also have a college degree and a great career, along with a family of my own, a house, and low tolerance for people who stereotype our generation so badly all the time.
BYH, Halloween is over! Merry ChristmaHannuRamaKwaanzaNewyearsgiving!
BYH, each year is special and precious, we can only live it once. Do not regret growing older, it is a privilege denied to many.
Congratulations to the full city council that was reelected for another term. We did not need a change because you folks have been great for our city and have done more than all the previous councils before.
Bless our hearts ... why exactly do we care if an officer has facial hair? Let's focus on real world issues.
