I got the surprise of my life when people were complaining about a DR editorial. You mean the BYH column is not the...

BYH, no one deserves free health care. This is America, pay your own way. No government help needed or wanted. Stand tall and proud — not begging. Everyone shares the load.

BYH to Tom Colson and Beth Ward with the county and Randy Waters with the Pitt County Development Commission for not wanting to partner with other groups for better economic development. Now Greenville, GUC, and other cities are partnering and will have a larger budget than the county. Can’t make this stuff up.

Harry Smith and Pirate Radio sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G. It is all very clear now. Well, not really. AM station does have a lot of static.

Since the Democrats and deep state couldn't bring down the president with the collusion hoax, let's see what they will come up with next. Bless their hearts, they should all be ashamed of themselves.

I think New Jersey is allowing terminally ill patients to seek end-of-life support. Around here all you get to do is wear a MAGA hat.

BYH to all the politicians that voted against the New Green Deal. Cows are now free to pass gas without the fear of being driven to extinction. I don't have to tear down my house and build one that don't use electricity. I don't have to drive my vehicles to the junk yard and buy all electric cars and airplanes are not a thing of the past.

BYH to the stores that continue to disperse free plastic bags. Do you not see enough of them clogging our streams and water ways or blowing in the wind/stuck on plants? Enough is enough! Ban these plastic poison pollution products, please!

BYH to C.M. Eppes Middle School for making the decision to cut social studies as a class next year. Science and language arts teachers building in social studies into their classes just doesn’t cut it. And we think our society is uninformed now!

BYH to the doctors who now want a tax on sugar drinks like sodas. It is bad enough that y'all tax my smokes now you want my drinks to cost more, too. Many of our jobs in this area depend on more people drinking, smoking and eating fried fatty food. Our habits create production jobs and then employ more doctors to treat our cancers, obesity and diabetes. Taxing us into healthier habits harms our local economy! That’s like building more sidewalks so we drive less. It just means we buy less gas, BYH.

BYH, democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what is for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
